About me
I’m Steve, a Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. student at Johns Hopkins University. My research interest lies in the application of machine learning for speech brain computer interfaces.
I am advised by Nathan Crone and currently working on a clinical trial investigating the safety and efficacy of implanted electrocorticography grids. To gain more experience in speech processing, I also spent a year working primarily from Hynek Hermansky’s lab at the Center for Language and Speech Processing.
Outside of the lab, I enjoy distance running, skiing, and baking.
